EVERY HUNTER MUST KNOW

the use of motor vehicles for pursuit hunting and extraction of any animal species, as well as shooting from all types of motor vehicles, except for shooting from floating equipment with the engine off;
collection of eggs and the destruction of nests of wild birds, destruction and digging up of permanent dwelling places of fur animals.
In the process of legal hunting, it is permitted:
to partially destroy the muskrat huts and burrows;
to open any shelter of small fur-bearing animals;
to use small nets (straw stecks, scoop nets, etc.) with the direct participation of a hunter while hunting for small fur-bearing animals, foxes, raccoon dogs, badgers;
digging narrow wells to the holes of the foxes, raccoon dogs, badgers in order to help digging dogs.

The hunter is administratively responsible for:
locating in populated areas with a loaded gun;
shooting at a distance of less than 100 meters from living quarters;
participation in hunting or assembled weapons-bearing in a state of intoxication;

locating on any motor vehicle with loaded weapons (except for hunting from a boat or motor boat with the engine off);
transportation of assembled unsheathed weapons on motor vehicles, tractors, trucks and motorcycles, except for cases of hunting for wild ungulates.
Hunting with dogs
It is allowed to use dogs for tracing, pursuit and catching wild animals and birds during hunting. All dogs in the hunting grounds with a hunter must be inscribed on the hunting license or have a certificate of registration in the veterinary authorities.
Time limits of the use of hunting dogs of different breeds and the order of their training are established by local hunting rules.

Hunting for wild ungulates
Hunting for wild ungulates in the Russian Federation is carried out only under the licenses. During collective hunting the license should be at the person responsible for shooting (the senior command, the foreman). Responsible for the shooting is obliged:

in case of extraction of animals in excess of the amount established in the license or shooting an animal of an opposite sex, or shooting an adult animal under a license issued for shooting young animals to 1 year, make a shooting note in a license.
